GlenAllachie 21 year old batch 7 has been released and the distillery is being unusually open about its intention: this series is built to change. Six batches came before this one, and rather than reproduce any of them, Billy Walker has once again bottled a different set of casks at a different strength. The distillery calls it Mastery in Motion. In practice it means the 21 Year Old is a moving target, and Batch 7 is the newest position it has landed on.
