Aged for 8 years in Belize in American oak before being shipped to Europe in 2015 and filled into large oak vats. Refilled in
August 2018 into a first fill bourbon barrel.
Toffee, liquorice, syrupy, menthol.
Natural colour. Non chill filtered.
THE DISTILLERY
Travellers Distillery started life in 1953 as a bar supplying their own blends of rum to people travelling to and from Belize City. When growing competition in the rum manufacturing business made it more difficult to obtain spirits of consistently good quality, the owner, Jaime Omario Perdomo, decided to build his own distillery. The distillery is still in the hands of the same family today
