Inchgower, The Old Malt Cask – 20 Years Old – 50% – 70 cl.

This single cask expression is part of Hunter Laing & Co.’s Old Malt Cask series. Distilled at Inchgower in October 1998 and matured in a single refill hogshead for two decades before bottling in November 2018 produced 348 bottles at a preferred strength of 50% abv. The nose is mellow with butterscotch and red berries. The palate brings sweet notes of rhubarb, vanilla tablet and liquorice, before gentle spices in the long finish.
